Visiting the Official Formula 1 Fan Forum, the drivers and team had fun interacting with the fans, answering questions and handing out mini helmets to the crowd.
ALPINE ACADEMY SUCCESS
The weekend also saw the final round of the 2023 FIA Formula 2 season run at Yas Marina Circuit. Alpine Academy drivers Jack Doohan, Victor Martins and Kush Maini started the weekend strong taking first, second and third in Friday’s F2 Qualifying. On Sunday, Jack and Victor converted the result into a 1-2 finish in the Feature Race, with Kush also claiming a points scoring finish in ninth. The results of the weekend meant Jack finished the championship in third, Victor finished in fifth – also taking the title of top rookie of the season – and Kush finished in 11th.
SAYING GOODBYE TO THE 2023 SEASON
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix marked the 23rd and final round of the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship. A season of highs and lows for the team, which saw both Esteban and Pierre take the third step on the podium in Monaco and the Netherlands respectively, and Pierre claim third in the Sprint Race at Circuit Spa-Francorchamps. Saying goodbye to the 2023 season in Abu Dhabi, the team now looks ahead to 2024.
Thank you to everyone at Enstone and Viry-Châtillon for all their hard work throughout the 2023 season, and thank you to all our BWT Alpine F1 Team fans.
